What was/is your experience been in nursing school? How would you describe it?
Hello! I am a rising junior in high school, and I am certain that going into nursing is something I want to do. More specifically, I want to get my BSN, become a registered nurse, then get my masters and become a nurse practitioner (specialize in sports medicine or orthopedics). I am curious about how life would be as a nursing school student. How stressful is it? How much free time do you get? Is it fun? #nursing #nurse #registerednurse #nursepractitioner #college #collegelife #nursingschool
Nurse Scientist
I posted a question earlier about nursing vs. medical laboratory science as I have an interest in both careers. I stumbled over this profession when I searched if there was any way I could combine nursing and laboratory science/ research. What does the typical day of work look like for a nurse scientist/nurse researcher? Do they get to dabble in both professions, or is it more so one track and strictly in research ? What are the school requirements for this career? #nursescientist #nurse #scientist #career #career-counseling

How should nurses handle their workplace stress? As a nurse, it will be important for us to have a clear explanation of how to handle the emotionally and physically demanding aspects of our job.
During my nurse training, I attended a seminar where the speaker encouraged nurses to develop and maintain habits that support our health. He recommended finding a physical activity or hobby to pursue as a way to reduce stress. I took his advice and found a gym that offers a variety of classes, so there is always something new in a nursing job to try. I also volunteer at children hospitals. I find that these two hobbies effectively relieve my stress. #july20, #jobs , #stress , #career, #nurse .
