To become a pharmacy technician in Texas, are classes or training required, or could I just self-study and take the certification exam?
Hello! I'm interested in becoming a certified pharmacy technician. However, I am also currently pursuing a four-year degree. I'm mostly interested in the pharm tech certification so I can gain experience in the field with the purpose of eventually going to pharmacy school, post-graduation. Therefore, I'm concerned about the cost of tuition for taking on a second program on top of my college expenses. I was wondering if it is possible in Texas to simply self study for the certification exam, or am I required to take courses or a training program? #pharmacy #pharmacist #college #pharmacytechnician #pharmtech #medicine

Should I consider pharmacy or dentistry here in the uk?
I understand dentistry definitely pays more but would pharmacy also pay decent enough to live a comfortable life and also be able to spend on holidays and family as an example or is just a lot of education for rough pay? Because here in the uk it takes the same amount of time to do both degrees just dentistry pays more but is harder to get into so I’m wondering if just for a little more money I’d be stressing myself out a lot with dentistry. I see myself doing both roles I enjoy the idea of both job titles. For dentistry I would have to take an exam and take a gap year whereas I could go into pharmacy straight away. But I have my worries, with pharmacy not paying as well or being too saturated as everyone goes on to say. And with dentistry perhaps being too difficult. I get good grades but it’s still a concern. I am willing to put in the work for both. #dentisty #pharmacy #education
Very confused as to whether I should wait a year to do dentistry or go into pharmacy this year
I have the grades to do both courses but in order to get into dentistry I need to redo an exam and wait a year. Yet I could go into pharmacy this year if I want. The real issue is I don’t know which career to go for because of the life style after the degree. I want to live a comfortable life that allows me to travel and have fun. #pharmacy

Medical Field with a business degree?
I am expected to graduate in May of 2020 with a bachelor's in Integrated Business. I am at a loss for the business world and don't feel challenged at all. I was considering maybe switching up to a career in the medical field. I was looking into Pharmacy or maybe becoming a PA? I know this all seems like a whim decision but I am very driven. The only setbacks I have been concerned about are my age (24) and the lack of prerequisites I took in business school. My questions would be what are some of the steps anyone that was in my position took to make the change that was needed. Any advice would help me. Thank you in advance! #business #healthcare #medical #PA #pharmacy #doctor
