Is a Fitness Coordinator basically a Physical Therapy equivalent without a Doctorate Degree?

I have been sold on Physical Therapy for a while now, but recently I have begun struggling with the idea of going to Medical School and all of the debt and excessive studying that entails. I took a career quiz and it recommended Fitness Coordinator rather than Physical Therapy. I love studying the human anatomy, working out, and helping others learn about their body, how it functions, and how to strengthen and enhance their performance. Would a Fitness Coordinator be the same thing as Physical Therapy, just without going to Medical School and getting a Doctorate? Also, what is the job satisfaction like for a Fitness Coordinator? What about the hours? work load? salary? work environment?

Would I be able to begin my journey as a recreational therapist with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology? ?

Would I be able to begin my journey as a recreational therapist with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology? & What major should I choose for my master's degree if I don't obtain it in recreational therapy? I just moved from CA to AR and decided I want to pursue a career in recreational therapy, preferably in a mental health facility setting. I would like to pursue my master's degree as well, but the University of Arkansas (which is the most affordable option for me) doesn't have that as a major. Depending on these responses I might just pursue my masters directly in RT online somewhere else.

I have DPT - is there a way to get ATC without having to go through 2-3+ years of school again?

I currently have doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) and right now the company I work for is looking to hire an athletic trainer (ATC) for my location. I was always interested in either doing DPT or ATC - now I am thinking about getting both certifications. I know that there are a bunch of classes that are basically the same thing in each curriculum (anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, etc.) I really don't want to have to take all of those courses again, so if anyone knows of like a transition program that I just take the necessary programs that were not included in the DPT program that I need for the ATC program, that would be great. Thanks!

What is the difference between being an Athletic/Sports Therapist and regular Physical Therapist?

I’ve been looking at Physical Therapy, but recently I was told Athletic Therapy might be a better fit for me. One of the reasons was being that PT simply worked with senior citizens more and AT works with adults or maybe younger. I just know I would prefer to work with teenagers, maybe young adults, or even children. I love the basic stretches, work outs, kinesthetic tapes, etc. Which one would you recommend for me? #Spring23

What should I major in if I want to become a Physical Therapist?

I'm currently a Junior in High School and about to finish up the school year. I know I want to become a physical therapist, but I'm not quite sure what to major in before I go to medical school. I've thought about a Pre-Med Biology major, but I've also thought about a major in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Human Performance. Is one better than the other if I am going into PT? Is there another major that would be even better? The college I want to go to offers both of these majors, so availability is not a problem. Thank you so much!
