What is a good way to career plan?
Who should I ask? Where to look? How to start?
How do I study abroad or go to boarding school without funds?
I would like to do my studies away from home for a while. I don't know how to get scholarships or grants. I have always loved to explore since I didn't get to leave the house much when I was younger. I might qualify for financial aid but that still may make it a bit hard. I would like to have primary coverage or full cover. I want to explore architectural design as well as forensic scenes, criminology, criminal profiling, Cooking, and linguistics. I like freedom but that doesn't mean that I won't listen to rules. I have a GPA of 3.5 and going into my sophomore year of high school.
When your confuse about life, what do you do to make it feel more clear?

How can I unlearn perfectionism or use it for good in the career field of event planning?
I need to unlearn my perfectionism. From my career path in the event planning field, I have lived by the mundane details and the desires to deliver flawless projects, proposals, and ideas. I always carry away deep into my projects and tasks by using all my energy and motivation which drains myself. I continually feel collapsed in exhaustion. I hope to lose my perfectionism traits and in turn the idea and my efforts to relearn to focus on the process instead of the product. I hope to gain satisfaction through living in the moment instead of seeing the end goal. I tend to be my harshest critic over the small things that go wrong. I am attached to the strive for perfectionism; this stems from my sense of self-worth with living on the expectations of others. However, I need to shift this perception. I need to get in touch with the value of what I am doing and look forward. I need to break out of unrealistic expectations and feeling less compelled to do things perfectly and make mistakes. My mistakes won’t matter to anyone else nor will they be impressed. My performance needs to be unattached from myself. There is a difference between excellence and perfectionism. Excellence stems from enjoying an learning from an experience and developing confidence from within it. #perfectionism #event #planning #career #betteroneself

Where do I start ?

How would someone figure out if it would be a better career path for him to be a structural engineer or a path in engineering management?
I’ve worked for the first two years after my graduation as a structural design engineer and now i’m a project coordinator but in a workplace that is somehow chaotic and i do not feel i’m learning any technical stuff like i did when i was a designer and now i’m in a dilemma between getting back to design before i forget it and between thinking that i do not learn any technical staff because i’m not in the best work environment someone would learn from. Just to elaborate as a project coordinator i’m responsible for following up with the design and shop-drawing and production teams and following up with the client to check that he replies to all quires and hiving him updates about the work and writing minutes of meeting probably that would be all, however i have no or a very little exposure to the estimation team of purchasing, we have only one project planner who is technically weak he makes the plan according to the project manager requests only ( i mean every detail in the plan is set by the project manager and the planner just uses Microsoft project to make it) so i do not feel like i’m having an added value On the other hand while i was a designer i learned every now and then a new information either about a code limit or a design principle and it was satisfactory So i do not know if i just hate the work place i’m in now because it is chaotic and i do not feel any technical added value or it is just the career path in management working that way

I'm looking to increase the amount of exposure teens like me (17) have to coding and computer sciences so they can take it into account when thinking about their future like I'm doing. What could be the best way to do so?
I've thought about this a lot and I think organizing a workshop in schools that do not include computer science courses in their curriculum is the way to go. During the workshops, students will be taught to program in certain languages by experts, although I still nee a lot more planning. I am also interested in hearing out suggestions from experts like you guys as well! :) #computer-science #computer #technology #computer-software #computer-software #education #planning #volunteer

How could I incorporate the progressively expanding world of technology into an Recreation and Leisure Services based career?
I am an Outdoor Recreation major. Right now in class, we are heavily debating the fight against technology and outdoor services. I believe that electronic technology is something that we can no longer "fight," but rather embrace and use it to promote other existing aspects of life. What techniques would you suggest for accepting technology into outdoor settings, without taking away from the experience? #psychology #tech #event-planning #planning #outdoor-recreation #sport-psychology #tech-pr
