What should be my plan for college since I plan on being a pediatric? Are there any majors, internships, clubs I should be taking into consideration to maximize the best of my abilities?

Also how many different types of pediatrics are there?

As pre-med student, is it more beneficial to attend a cheap, less prestigious university or a more expensive university with a better pre-med program?

At one institution, I received a full-tuition scholarship, and it's close enough that I can live at home. However, it has limited pre-med opportunities outside of the curriculum. At the other institution, I received zero financial aid but was accepted to a prestigious honors pre-med program with multiple benefits (guaranteed freshman research positions, smaller classes, capstone program, etc.). I'm majoring in biochemistry in both, with plans to go to medical school to become a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. Is it more worthwhile to avoid debt at a smaller school with fewer pre-med opportunities, or invest in a school with abundant opportunities?

Is it possible to pursue a job in healthcare with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry??

I'll be attending college later this year and I'm majoring under Medicinal Biochemistry, as well as trying to become part of the Pre-Med program the university offers. I'm aiming to become a Nurse or Nurse Practitioner and I'm wondering more about the steps I should take after earning my degree.

How do you discover the medical profession that most suited you the best?

As a college student I know I want to be in the medical field, I have kept my options open, but I haven't been able to truly explore all the careers available. I am hoping that someone who once stood in my shoes would lend me a few words of advice from their experiences. I also am curious to know what schools UC, CSU, or private schools are better suited for pre-med or medical school. Any extra information relevant to this topic would be helpful. Thank you for your time and effort, have a blessed day!

Why is the med-school ride necessary for ophthalmology?

I am a sophomore on a pre-med track at university and the uncertainty of med school scares me. I am certain of my desire for ophthalmology, but I worry that many years spent in med school will not be years spent learning about the eyes. Is there any advice to calm doubts and fears of being unsuccessful even after all the years' investments?
