I want to pursue a career involving programming/ software development but i'm not sure what degree to study in university. The two courses I have found that would lead to a career in my desired field are Bachelor of Computer Science (http://www.waikato.ac.nz/study/subjects/computer-science) or Bachelor of Software Engineering (http://www.waikato.ac.nz/study/subjects/software-engineering). There is also the option of a Bachelors in Information Technology (https://www.wintec.ac.nz/study-at-wintec/courses/information-technology) but while looking for jobs available in New Zealand they all seemed to required degrees in Computer Science or Software engineering.
