In your opinion are leaders born or made?

Here is my opinion: Leaders can be both born and made, as some people have natural leadership qualities while others develop them through experience and training. But I would really love to hear your opinion.

How often should I reach out to my Academic Advisor ?

I think it is a great idea for me to establish great communication with my Academic Advisor so I can keep on taking the necessary course for my degree. Not only that but I have been given great personal and professional advice and resources. I don't want to overstep my boundaries by asking a ton of questions all the time, but I would like to utilize as many resources, advice, and opportunities as my advisor can provide me.

What is the most important step to take to prepare for college?

I'm a high school Senior (Home Schooled) and the nest step after graduation is college. I have a few side jobs right now like babysitting and cleaning our local church once a week, but it doesn't pay enough for college. Should I be focusing on money right now? Or should I be focusing more on school right now? I am a straight A student and I've already been accepted into and enrolled in a university starting the next fall semester. Should I be focusing more on studying and maintaining my grades? Or should I be focusing the most on scholarships right now? What do you think is the most important step for most people to take before attending college? Is there anything specific we should be doing to prepare for college to make the transition easier? Is there anything specific we could be doing to prepare for college if we know what career we want to get into or at least what interests us? #Questions #Getting Ahead

Is the Earth flat?

Earth is our home planet. Scientists believe Earth and its moon formed around the same time as the rest of the solar system. They think that was about 4.5 billion years ago. Earth is the fifth-largest planet in the solar system. Its diameter is about 8,000 miles. And Earth is the third-closest planet to the sun. Its average distance from the sun is about 93 million miles. Only Mercury and Venus are closer.

What is the hardest part about being a music teacher, and what is the best part about teaching music?

I'm planning on getting my degree in music education (possibly with a choral specialization) and I'm curious as to what the most difficult and most rewarding parts of teaching music are. What can I expect when I start teaching? Are there any skills I can start working on to help overcome difficulties, and what should I keep in mind as I work on my degree and as I enter the classroom? Is there anything you wish you had known? I've had a lot of experience with choral music, and I'm a student director for a younger ensemble (9-12 years old). This is definitely my passion-and definitely my future job- but I was curious about the experiences of professional music educators on the topic. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated, and I look forward to hearing more about my future career. #musiceducation #music #music-education #choral-music #questions #teaching #teacher
