HOW CAN I BECOME A ER TRAVEL NURSE?

My name is Kiana, a 17-year-old senior and my dream career is to be an ER travel nurse. I have not yet fully applied to any colleges because I am unsure of where to even start in order to enter that field. I was once told I would be required to take prerequisites in order to get into nursing school, but I am unsure how. Can you provide any suggestions and advice, such as what the first thing I should do in order to pursue that career path, and what to do after that?

Is it possible to apply for an ADN (take an online course) at the age of 17 and being a junior in highschool without a highschool diploma?

The course could be through a community college, but it needs to be online. My goal/thought process is to be able to do this and have my ADN around graduation of senior year so I can begin working in the field and gaining experience while then attaining my BSN. Is there another approach I should be taking instead? And can I even apply to a community college for an ADN without a highschool diploma since I am a junior.

What is the hardest thing about being a labor and delivery nurse or or any nurse in general.

Ive always had this career in the back of my head but never really thought about it until I started reasearching more about it. I have always liked the idea with working with babies even tho that is not what nurses do all the time but just the idea of being around them sometimes sounds like the ideal job. Helping mothers too who are in labor or just helping people in general.

Are new grad nurses prepared to know how to work in their environment?

Im a senior in high school and want to go into nursing. Today, for the first time, with no previous experiences, I shadowed an ICU nurse. It was a cool experience but scary with how much knowledge of machines, technology and charting you have to know how to work? I was truly wondering if any nurses out there can reassure how they feel about that when they were a new grad? Does nursing school truly prepare you for the experience of what to do and how to not bye lost? It just seemed like A LOT!
