I'm looking to ED to NYU, will there be a greater financial aid package in ED or RD?

I was born in New york but currently live in Nepal. Since NYU is so expensive, and my household income is around $40,000 a year, how much do you think their aid will be if I ED this year? I live in Nepal so i really have no idea about scholarship programes that i could apply to to afford NYU, if anyone could please help me out with that. Is NYU recommended for undergraduates or not worth it considering the heavy tuition fees? How much debt is okay to be in? Nepali college counsellors really dont help with that at all. #NYU #tuition #scholarship #NYUCAS #sttudentloan

For anyone who has made a successful career change, what were the most important things you had to do, or what advice would you give others looking to do the same?

I'm a current college student, so I haven't officially started my career yet, but I'm extremely anxious about doing so, especially now that the pandemic has changed life as we know it. I've changed my career aspirations several times already, but now I'm nearing graduation and I'm still terrified that I'll wind up in a career I don't enjoy. Whether you ended up changing careers because you were dissatisfied or because you found better opportunities in another field, I'm really interested in hearing the experiences of professionals who have been in a situation like me. How did you overcome your worries, and what advice would you give to someone else? #career #career-counseling #careers #career-advice #future #career-options #college #college-student #graduation #career-change #career-switch #career-changes #career-switches #advice #july #july20 #scholarship

Where do I find viable scholarships?

I’m a rising freshman in college, and have won a few scholarships through applications I found in my school’s college and career center. But where else can I find scholarships? Parent won’t put financial info on Fafsa application. Can I put other parent on it?

I’m trying to go back to school and turn my life around, but I can’t do it without financial aid. I’m 22, and had to move back in with my father 7 months ago (I was desperate). My father has a gambling and drug addiction, as a result, I’m constantly staying with friends and family members. I go from friends couch, to aunts basement. My address is at my fathers apartment, but I’m NEVER there. He refuses to give me any of his financial info to put on my Fafsa. I haven’t lived with my mom since high school, but she did offer to let me use her on my FAFSA application. Can I do that? I don’t live with her. Neither parent takes care of me financially, but my address is at my fathers. What should I do? #college #scholarship #finance #financial-aid #financial-aid #Fafsa #Money

Will getting a job affect my chances for scholarships at college?

I’m really young and will be going to high school soon, but my family needs the money for the future. I’ve heard about a possibility that if you work while in high school, you won’t get a scholarship for the money. I was wondering if this was true. #scholarship #highschool #college #college-advice #work-life-balance

Love to hear replies on this: What's the happiest experience you've had in college and/or high school? Tell me about it.

I know a lot of us on here are looking at that college scholarship sweepstakes, but take some time away for scholarship searching, and share something. Super cliche, but why the heck not. #yolo #scholarship #college #hashtag #mental-health #student #education #life
