Where to find scholarship opportunities ?

Hey! Highschool freshman here. As I'm preparing for college, I'm taking note of how expensive it will be, I was wondering how I can find scholarship opportunities that are not super rare chances for someone to win? Are there any other ways I can lower the cost of college?

Will my ethnicity be a factor when applying to scholarships that are not African-American / Black Exclusive

My sophmore year teach showed us a video that essentially said that more white students are chosen for scholarships and it showed a person that helps with the scholarship process and said that this is true and if that only applies to a predominantly white should oppose to a school that is more or less diverse in a sense. #scholarships #african-american #money #college #first-generation-college-students

What are some ways that I can get more money for college?

I'm enrolled in a liberal arts college for the fall and it is pretty pricey! I have a little bit over half of my tuition paid for by the scholarships that my school has given me.. I have only heard back from one of the scholarships in my area that I have applied for. I have cerebral palsy so it is hard for me to maintain a part time job because most of them are physical and on your feet all the time. I hope to apply for disability soon but that still leaves a lot of tuition to pay for. #college #money #scholarships #disabilities #disability

When applying for scholarships, what is the best way to tell if it is a scam or not?

Because college isn't exactly cheap, I've been looking into a bunch of different scholarships and applying to many of them to possibly gain some financial help for when I start attending college. I have also recently discovered that these scholarship opportunities can be a group of scammers gathering personal information. Is there a way to tell if you are being scammed when applying for scholarships? Are there scholarshiping websites that you know are safe? #scholarships #scholarship #college #financial-aid

I would love to finance my #higher-education with more #scholarship money, especially given a cut in state funding for #financial-aid taking effect next year. Is it more worthwhile to devote my time to the easier #scholarships that simply require me to sign up for a website or take a survey? Or should I pursue fewer scholarships, but try to go for the ones that require an #essay ? Where will my time be best spent?

What can better me into getting a better chance with the essay scholarships?

I'm a very lazy person especially when it comes to writing. But when work needs to be put into it I will do it. I don't understand how people can get a scholarship just by using the same phrase over and over then bam get in. It frankly is not the way I want to stand out. Overall I'm asking for suggestions. #scholarships #college-essay

Are scholarships worth it?

I applied to numerous amount of scholarships when I was in undergraduate school and I received one that was through one of my professor's friend. However, the ones I applied online from all of the scholarship search engines came up blank. I am now applying to graduate school and I am wondering if there is anybody out there that have actually won one of these scholarships? Are they worth the time I am spending applying or would I be better off just picking up another shift at work? #college #scholarships #graduateschool #payingforcollege

How do I study abroad or go to boarding school without funds?

I would like to do my studies away from home for a while. I don't know how to get scholarships or grants. I have always loved to explore since I didn't get to leave the house much when I was younger. I might qualify for financial aid but that still may make it a bit hard. I would like to have primary coverage or full cover. I want to explore architectural design as well as forensic scenes, criminology, criminal profiling, Cooking, and linguistics. I like freedom but that doesn't mean that I won't listen to rules. I have a GPA of 3.5 and going into my sophomore year of high school.
