HELP! Which is better: UCONN or MCPHS?

I'm currently a high school senior amidst the college application/decision process. As of right now, my top 2 schools include University of Connecticut and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. I understand that both schools are vastly different from one another but there are attributes to each that I admire. Uconn has all the extracurriculars I've been interested in being involved in (fencing club and bollywood fusion dance team) and it is closer to home. MCPHS on the other hand is much smaller and therefor will probably cater better to each student. It's also in a more urban setting. The plan is to go to medical school after my 4 years of undergrad. Although MCPHS is geared towards the healthcare field, I've read many articles that it is ultimately not a good school. I'm just really confused on how to proceed as I want to make the right decision in ensuring my future-in-medicine path. Any advice is helpful! Thank you :)

How often should I reach out to my Academic Advisor ?

I think it is a great idea for me to establish great communication with my Academic Advisor so I can keep on taking the necessary course for my degree. Not only that but I have been given great personal and professional advice and resources. I don't want to overstep my boundaries by asking a ton of questions all the time, but I would like to utilize as many resources, advice, and opportunities as my advisor can provide me.

Should my major still be business-esque or something like writing/editing?

I don't know much about the specifics of majors and minors in college. But for a while I thought it was something about business. Now I'm thinking. I like to read so much and write. When I do read (some amazing books btw), my mind goes over and over, unconsciously editing and analyzing, it's annoying. But then my sister brought up going into that, like a publishing house. Of course after college and everything. #business #entrepreneur #writing #editor #help #senior

What should I major in/should I even go to college?

I’m 16 and a senior in high school. I want to do something with animals but not necessarily become a vet. I could volunteer at shelters but I’m not sure what I want my main career to be. I was thinking maybe real estate or architecture or maybe even run my own animal sanctuary but I’m not sure I need to go to college for any of those things. I’m not sure what I want to do or be after high school. Any advice? #veterinarian #college #college-major #real-estate #architecture #senior #16 #animals #volunteer #career #animal-sanctuary
