What jobs can I get as a medical student?

I plan on becoming a forensic pathologist, which takes a very, very long time. I'd like to know what kind of jobs I can get at certain levels of my college education. I'd like good money, so I can start paying off student loans early. Thank you! #medical-practice #student-loans #forensic-investigation #what-kind-of-jobs-can-i-expect #college-bound #doctorate-degree

Is a doctoral degree worth it?

I want to major in Nuclear Medicine and become a doctor/physician in the field, but I'm unsure if it's worth taking a large student loan for med school. My family isn't the wealthiest and I do not desire to spend my parents' money on anything past a four-year university. I'm willing to work hard for the degree, but I wonder if the loan, time, and effort outweigh the positives of the career. #career #student-loans #medicine #doctor

What is credit and how do I build good credit?

Going into college you are confronted with lots of ways to pay for tuition, including loans. Typically, everyone is charged around the same interest for their loans because there tends to be little to no credit history among young individuals . I know that this may not be the case for any future loans I may take and that my credit score may be taken into account when a bank is giving out a loan. So how do I begin to build my credit and work towards earning a good score? #finance #credit-cards #credit #college #money #loans #student-loans

It seems like more jobs need a degree to get. If this is the case, why are university/college prices going up? It is just putting more young adults into debt.

I am asking because I am going to college/university to get my degree and I am curious to why it is costing me so much. #student-debt #college-major #degrees #college #financial-planning #student-loans #financial-advising

On average, how many colleges should I look into applying to?

I am currently in my junior year, a crucial time for many high school students around the world. I have to focus on keeping my grades up, while studying and taking the SATs. This is also the time I have to start applying to colleges and then hoping that they would later accept me as one of their own. I am not well-off financially. I don't have the extra money to be spending on SAT classes or private tutoring. I don't want to waste my parents' money on applying to colleges that won't even accept me. I would probably have to take out loans to pay off my college debt in the future. Knowing that, how many colleges should I plan on applying to? I know many college applications cost money, some even over $100. I know eventually I will financially drain myself, but I don't want to start just yet. #college #money #student #high-school #college-applications #student-loans #money-management #financial

When choosing a college what should I prefer, better reputation or better price?

So I'm pretty smart and have a GPA high enough to get me into a pretty solid college, but I'm worried about the cost and the student loans I would amass. So I was wondering how I would find a balance between both a good education and a good price, but not suffering in either, and in a worst-case scenario, which one should I pay more attention to, college reputation or the price tag? #college #finance #student-loans

Knowledge about loans?

Hello, I am currently a high school senior and will be graduating very soon. Student loans have been a cause of great stress for me. While financial aid appears to cover the majority of my college costs on paper, It is clear to me that I will have to take out loans at some point. Through my school I am eligible to receive $1,750 a semester in subsidized loans. I will be working during the summer to cover any costs that can not be handled with subsidized loans, as well as reducing the total amount in loans I will have to take out. I understand I will most likely have to take out these loans, I am very afraid to get into debt and I need to know how loans work. I understand that they will accrue interest after I graduate or stop being a full time student because they are subsidized, but If I have to take out multiple loans over the course of college, how is repaying them generally handled? Is there a specific time I need to pay them back by? Can I pay for my loans while still attending school (reducing the balance before interest starts to build)? Is each loan handled separately, or in one lump sum(Subsidized Stafford loans from the govt.)? I am not knowledgeable about this in any way and I would appreciate any help offered. #college #student-loans #loans

Is it worth borrowing a lot of money to go to my dream school?

I am asking this question because at the end of my college I will owe a lot of money in student loans and if I went to a school that I did not want to go to but was cheaper I wouldn't have to pay back as many student loans and I don't know if borrowing all of this money is worth it. #professor #financial-aid #student-loans #dean

How to go about getting student loans

I wasn't able to fit into any economics classes in high school and am now freaking out about what sources to use for receiving student loans. I know that I am going to need something as my current scholarships aren't fully covering my education and I currently have no money to pay and my parents are not supporting me financially. I don't know which loans would be best suited to avoid debt later on, I don't know what rates are best, I don't know if I should trust variable rates, and I'm honestly just so clueless, so a quick run-down about how to approach this would be wonderful. #finance #economics #scholarships #student-loans #loans

Is spending 8 years learning really worth becoming a doctor?

Right now, I'm a sophomore in high school and very often people ask me who I want to be after college. My response had usually been a doctor, but after doing some research about the job, I understand that becoming an actual doctor is a very rocky step. I feel like a lot of time is needed, as well as a lot of financial resources to finish college and then medical school. As well, I understand that after med school I will need to spend another 2-4 years as an intern and then possibly more to specialize in something. So, I'm just wondering whether in the end it will be worth it, because if I do choose this path I feel like the next 12, or so years of my life I will be a student and possibly not earning enough to adequately support myself and pay the school debts. #doctor #medical-school #student-loans #learning #debt #expenses
