What are the best scholarships for international students as a Class of '24 incoming freshman?

I am a South African student who will be attending an American state university in the fall. However, due to laws that prevent my university from providing me with aid because I am an international student, I might struggle to pay to attend. I really do not want to use large loans as a solution because of the chances of incurring huge amounts of debt. Any advice or scholarship suggestions that could help last minute? #college #scholarship #student #financial-planning #financial-aid

What does the normal routine of a nurse consist of? Has Covid-19 made the medical facilities less busy (due to people staying at home) or has it kept its level of intensity?

I'm very interested in working in a fast pace environment like the ER. I like the idea of how you'll be able to see all types of cases everyday. And how to deal with the patients and they are needing in the moment. #nursing #nurse #healthcare #college #medicine #medical #student #career

What company is doing remotely work?

I'm a college student and I work in school, even though they don't pay me that good. It enough to buy some snacks and it helps me pay some part of my tuition. Since my University shutdown and we're doing online classes, I can't afford to pay the rest of my fall semester class. I'm looking for a job, that will be remotely or anything I can do to pay my school fees. #COVID19 #college #money #financial-planning #JOB #HELP #FOOD #REMOTELY #WORK #STUDENT #TUITION #technology #scholarship

What size college is "too big?"

I am used to having teachers readily available in high school, and I find classes with 30+ students to be frustrating. However, I hate how I know everyone in high school and I hate how everyone feels "stuck" with each other (there are a little under 1,000 students total in my school). On the other hand, I want to be able to make connections with people without feeling overwhelmed. With this in mind, does anyone have any recommendation on a student body size range that I should focus on? #college #collgecampus #student #social

My school district has shut down for an extra week in my area due to COVID-2019 which isn't a big deal. As a senior tho it is hard to think that they might cancel school. I've been hearing rumors and even seeing in some news articles the state of Texas might postpone school for the rest of the year 2019-2020. I'm worried about how that'll affect me not gonna lie. Whether colleges think I failed to what job I apply for in the future... Any tips or advice? Thanks in advanced!

How do you stay focused in 3+ hour long night classes?

I took a class last semester that was 3+ hours long twice a week at night and it seriously burned me out. I would go right after work so I was tired and had a hard time focusing. Curious if others had a similar issue and how you went about staying focused? Our professor let us record the lecture so if I zoned out I would at least know I can listen to the lecture again later on. What were your strategies. I might have to take another one in the Fall #college #student and I'm already dreading it.
