What is the best way to prepare for studying abroad in Spain for a full semester?

My desire to study abroad stems from wanting to learn the language of Spanish, to travel and see the sights, to re-model myself to see new approaches of lifestyles and to develop and make personal growth with lifetime memories. I might be intimidated to let go of my normal day to day routine as I am a planner who strives on time management and schedules. However, I am eager to learn a different side of myself, to grow more independently and be present for myself and the world around me. Spain is a place that is so relevant to my studies and my intentions as a global citizen. From having family members who have traveled the world tell their stories since I was a little girl, I have been taught and expected to love a country that I have never met. My passion for studying the Spanish language, my major and gaining a deeper understanding of new cultures, has inspired me to apply to study abroad Seville, Spain. I leave in January until May and want to make sure I obtain the best experience and absorb the most learning opportunities. What steps and actions should I look into completing and getting ready before leaving beyond expenses and documents? How can I better prepare my mind to a new culture and the shock along with it? #travel #college #spain #studyabroad #spanish #hospitality #prepare

What are some things you regret not doing in college?

I'm not in college yet, but I want to know the different opportunities and experiences you may have received but didn't take the chance to do it! I want to learn from other people's mistakes so that I live out the rest of my 4 years to its fullest. One thing I want to do to study abroad, but I know it's going to be financially hard for me. I know there are scholarships, but is there any advice as to how I can find money to go & also balance out my school work? Also, was it okay - if you studied abroad - for you to travel alone with your program, or did you apply with a friend? #abroad #travel #money #finance #college #regrets #life #excitement #confusion

What is a major that I'd be able to use in any part of the world?

I am currently going into my Junior year of college and I am kind of undecided with regards to what I want to major in. Due to some circumstances, I don't know how long I will be able to reside within the United States. How do I move to a different job market?

I am based in the SF Bay Area. I am considering to move out of it after I graduate college with a degree in advertising. Some places I am considering are Seattle, Austin, Portland, or Los Angeles. I love the Bay Area but its really expensive to live here. I eventually want to get my own place without having to spend an absurd amount of money on rent or live with a lot of roommates. I am totally down to relocate but I need some advice on how I should go about doing that. How do I show recruiters and employers that I am willing to relocate? Any tips or related advice about relocating would be super helpful! What's the most financially smart way to move out of town after graduation?

I'll be finishing my undergrad in about a year and have always had a passion for travel, immersing myself in different cultures, new people, and foreign places. I have had this goal to move out of my college town after I finish my degree as a challenge to myself to build new community, meet more people from across the country or world, and get to know myself better. Is this a good idea? I'm very aware of how expensive moving is and I'm worried about finding a job and place to live far from home. Should I wait a year after I graduate until I take the leap? Is this goal setting myself up for financial failure? #postgrad #travel #dream
