What are your future goals in life?

My future goals in life are to complete my college egducation and get my Bachelors degree, get into graduate school and work my way to become a Clinical Psychologist. These are the biggest life long goals that I have set up to complete, and I am working immensely on trying to achieve them all. I have high hopes that I will get to that point in life where I am satisfied with what I’m doing and am going to be enjoying what I’m doing. In the mean time I also plan on having my own charity organization which will help those less fortunate in need, the homeless, funding low-income students on achieving their academic goals to get where they want, and to work worldwide on aiding the lower developed countries in providing them with they can’t receive such as food, clothing etc. I have an profound view on what I want my future to goals to look and I plan on fulfilling each one of them. #college #undergraduate #essay #goals #future #helping #askquestion #motivation #psychology #clinicalpsychology

Would it be better to obtain an undergraduate and graduate degree separately or together in a single program?

I am a high school student going into my senior year and can't decide which program route I should go into. Over the summer, I have discovered my passion for the occupational therapy field and the good that comes out of it. Knowing very well that I want to major in that study, I started looking into universities that offer an occupational therapy program. I soon found out that there aren't many colleges that offer an undergraduate program for occupational therapy, solely because it is a field that requires a graduate degree to be licensed. I have found a few colleges that offer a 5-year combined BS/MS program for occupational therapy, but that would mean I would have to sacrifice my opportunity to attend a top school. Should I result to being accepted into a better university, getting a bachelor's in a related major, and then later obtaining my master's of occupational therapy? Or should I stick with the 5-year program in a much lower rank school? What are the differences beside time length to be licensed? #occupational-therapy #college-major #college-degree #bachelor's #masters-degree #masters #undergraduate #graduate-school #university #college

Continuing Education credits as an undergraduate?

I am currently a sophomore psychology major. I also am a student affiliate of the American Psychological Association. Each year, my membership comes with 5 free CE credits. They center around some interesting articles, so I'm certainly not going to let them go to waste. I do wonder, however, what exactly it means to do these as an undergraduate. I realize they're usually for professionals who have to meet CE requirements to maintain their license. Even so, could I put them on a resume if they are relevant? What do CE credits mean for someone who is still in school? Is there any purpose? Thanks in advance! #psychology #continuing-education #apa #psych #courses #undergraduate #college
