I want to go to college and major in education, arts, or mathematics.

Context: I'm a high school senior who's a peer tutor for freshman, go to elementary school job shadowing a teacher. The opportunities of doing something I love and want to major in, like education, is something I want to do in life. Reasons are is that I love children, I like being around them and helping them in difficult subjects they have trouble in. Because I was once in their place and knew how it felt to feel stuck or felt embarrassed to ask for help. And for me being kind, understanding, and patience is natural for me.
College: Bellarmine University is the college in mind. Because it has a beautiful campus, distance from home isn't far, and the number of students in classroom is perfect for me, since I like small classes and get to know people I'll communicate or graduate in the future.
Other Education: After I graduate from college, I would have to go back and go to Graduate school. Since, I would need a Master and get my teaching certification if I plan of majoring in education.
Activities: I honestly plan on joining activities or clubs on campus. To get to know other fellow students from different states and background. Not only that I also plan to still continue to volunteer at my church tutoring program, and help students, kindergarten through 12th grade, with their homework. I'm currently in Educator Rising, it's a club where people are interested or like to teach in the future. We help a neighboring elementary not far from the school and job shadow our assigned teacher.
Job Experience: N/A
Soft Skills: Communication, responsibility, positivity, and team work are a few soft skills I have.
Hard Skills: Three years of latin, mathematics, and time management are a few hard skills.
Other: If education doesn't work out, I love to major or minor in arts. I usually draw or watercolor in my spare time at home and school.

I want to be a nurse in Portland working for Providence.

Context: Currently, I am part of the Beaverton Health Careers Program which is for juniors and seniors in high school. They provide me with hands on first aid training, case studies, knowledge of diseases, and clinical rotations at local medical facilities. Most of my interest has developed through this program. Jobs are also a big part of my inspiration to become a nurse. I work as a lifeguard and am required to be prepared for emergencies in the pool. Other jobs include volunteering as a babysitter and in the Providence gift shops.
College: I just recently confirmed my enrollment to University of Portland. I'm really excited as it was my first choice college.
Other Education: I am currently a 12th grader in high school.
Activities: I listed a few of my activities above. I also do ballet four times a week at the Portland Dance Center. I plan on continuing ballet in college as it helps me relax my mind. The atmosphere is fun as I made good friends at the center. Another passion of mine I really want to continue is studying abroad and traveling. I went on an EF tour, educational tour, with my school last summer to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It was my first time traveling to Europe, and without my parents. I would do it again as the scenes were amazing and gave me a lesson about a different culture than mine.
Job Experience: I first started as a junior lifeguard in 2012 and became a lifeguard in 2016. As part of my job, I have to keep watch over the pool, maintain the facility, and teach lessons to preschoolers and elementary school students.
Soft Skills: Time management will definitely be a skill for me to have as I have to somehow balance a job, school, and sports (ballet). Communication will also be important as a nurse speaks with patients and doctors everyday.
Hard Skills: Might have to learn Spanish due to the growing population of hispanics in healthcare facilities. I'll also have to think about the MCAT test as it is one of the biggest exams to take to certify me as a nurse.

I want to be a book editor in New York City at Harperteen Publishers.

Context: I am a student who is about to start a degree in Public Relations and minor in Creative Writing. I have researched a bit, and I have found that most people say the type of degree doesn't matter, I just need a bachelor's degree. I have always enjoyed reading, and I especially like reading well written books with substantial plot lines and well developed characters. I feel that there is so much that an individual can learn about the real world while exploring the fictional worlds that have been created.
College: Right now I am in the process of transferring schools. I am applying to Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University. They are both great schools and are affordable for me. I know that most of the jobs would be located East of the Mississippi river, I just can't afford to go to school back east.
Other Education: I don't know what other training I would need besides a bachelor's degree. All I have been able to find is get a bachelors degree and network your way into the industry.
Activities: As I am going to school, I will be working part time. I often spend time volunteering in my place of worship and helping others in the congregation. I also spend a considerable amount of time reading (I am always on the search for great books!). I hope to do a study abroad soon.
Job Experience: I don't have any direct experience with this field of work, but am looking for internships and other ways to gain that experience.
Soft Skills: I am a friendly and optimistic individual who enjoys creating meaningful relationships with others.
Hard Skills: Social Media Marketing Certificate: April 2018 58 WPM Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher

I want to be an Anesthesiologist in a city in the US

Context: I am interested in this career because I want to help people which drove me to go towards the medical field. Then I was in middle school and I wanted a more definite answer for myself on which profession in the medical field I wanted to do. So I did research on what jobs there are to do in the medical field. I did not want to work in a doctor office, and from watching medical tv shows I wanted a type of social environment which meant a hospital. That narrowed down the field I wanted to do something interesting that had excitement. That lead to the operating room, which again narrowed down the field. I knew I would not want to be a surgeon I don't think I would be able to actual cut into people. So I choose and Anesthesiologist, that helps patient just as much as the surgeon but with almost no mess.

I want to explore wayfinding and environmental design.

Context: Wayfinders lead through design, by paying close attention to the way people behave in different situations, and finding environmental answers to guide them. People don’t act in a uniform fashion, and a wayfinder’s challenge is to find solutions that address as many people as possible. This is something I want to do; work in a design field that solves real problems and leads people on their way. The part that appeals to me most is that environmental design is most successful if no one notices it’s there, as if it emerged from within the crowd.
College: I have been accepted to: The School of the Art Institute of Chicago Savannah College of Art and Design I have applied to: Pratt Institute Cal Arts UC Davis CSU Long Beach
Other Education: I am currently a senior at Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley California.

I love running, hanging out with my dog and adventuring with my friends. I am also a swim instructor at the local community center to kids aged 3-12.
Job Experience: My work in high school has incorporated a range of processes. After beginning with photography, I applied and was accepted to an intensive two-year program focused on documentary filmmaking. These experiences developed my artistic techniques and advanced my practical skills. I arranged an internship with a studio photographer, and gained an appreciation for the dedication and precision that goes into a single shot. I attended a graphic design intensive at Syracuse University that fed my passion for design. Recently, I spent time meeting with professional wayfinders to learn more about this profession that I’m seriously considering.
