How did you pick your career? Did you know all along?
I fell into my career when I was an undergrad student and one of my friends referred me to an IT job that he was also doing at the time. I found out I excelled at the job, and so I took it more seriously than previous jobs. Once I got the experience, it allowed me to find other IT related jobs and continue a career that has carried on for 25 years and going strong.
What is the one piece of career advice you wish someone gave you when you were younger?
You can't succeed until you fail. You can't fail until you try. You can't try if you don't take the first steps. Figure out what you want to do, do what you need to get there, don't be afraid to give it a shot, and when you take your shot, give it all you can.
