How long would I have to go to college for cosmetology?

Could I take the classes and learn what all I need to know in trade school?

Hi Madison!
Different states require different amounts of hours in order to take the state exam to earn your license. There are high-school trade programs that take about two years, while other programs are excelled and can take under a year. I would advise to choose whichever program will suite your lifestyle best. I would always encourage to continue to take classes and attend seminars always continue learning and perfecting new techniques.

Hi Madison! Trade school is a great option for the cosmetology field. In additional having the traditional classroom experience, you will also have the required hands on experience necessary to learning the techniques required for board certification. Good luck!
