College recommendations?

What are some of the best colleges for going into the medical field? Specifically physical therapy or speech pathology. I would prefer school's close to Alabama!

Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP)
University of Alabama — Strong undergrad + grad program in communicative disorders.

Auburn University — Highly regarded SLP master’s program; competitive but excellent.

Jacob’s Answer

Hi, Brooke,

I looked into SLP Programs when I was transitioning out of the Army. Ultimately, I chose to pursue a different field, but I did a lot of research. My starting point for looking into any school was typically US News & World Report. That organization publishes lists of the top programs in a given discipline. I linked the lists for PT and SLP below.

Best of luck - I hope this helps!
