I have looked at some questions already like mine, but after researching the colleges, all the colleges have one or the other, not both. I am going into my junior year so I really need help to decide where I want to go so I can start reaching out to college coaches for softball.

Does it matter what college I go to after high school before dental school?

Hi, I'm currently in high school and I'm interested in dentistry, more specifically orthodontics. I know that I have to go to a college/university for four years to get my Bachelors before I can go to a dental school, but are there any colleges I should lean towards specifically? Also, what would it be most recommended I get a Bachelors in? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Does cost or experience matter more when choosing a college?

Right now I have hard choice between two colleges. One college is more prestigious in the area I am studying in, and I've been accepted into multiple honors programs, but it's not offering me any scholarships. The second college gave me a large scholarship, it's a private university. Overall, attending the first college would be almost 2x more expensive, but I also like the feel of the campus a lot more and it's more accredited in my area of study. I'm not sure what or how to decide.

Is it ok to mention an alumni's name in your college application process I know that some schools do not favor nepotism...?

Some admission advisors don't give credit to using an alumni's name. Also what if that advisor dislikes the person you are speaking about. Makes a situation very difficult...

Any Non-Profit Organizations or Institutions That Assist Students/Families Struggling to Pay Tuition?

I've been looking for help to alleviate the financial stress of paying for college tuition. I've applied to so many scholarships but haven’t received any, and it’s getting really overwhelming. Are there any non-profits or organizations that genuinely help students or families who are having a hard time covering tuition? I know it might sound too good to be true, but I’m just trying to make it through college without drowning in debt. Any recommendations or advice would mean a lot.

Is this a good way to organize potential colleges?

Title basically says it all. I know it's an early age for me to be doing this, but it's important to me that I get this done. So far, I have organized the spreadsheet below into six sections (at the time of posting). Is this a good way to do it? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZYbUpxcrVWBEs8ja_1aJa9f5mL6LqCKWuq0-j7N0OLk/edit?usp=sharing

What if I can't go to my dream college because 1.) I need to go to one in my area first and 2) The college is far away from where I am (which is why number one is included)?

Should I, if it's an option, find a way to stay in touch with them even when I'm at the other college to show them I'm still interested, or should I wait until my time there is over and then just transfer to my dream college and take the courses I want to take there?

Do I have a chance in college?

I been asking a lot about college applications and I'm still not sure if I want to reveal my real life story or choose something safe - yet unique to stand out. My unweighted GPA is a 3.3 while my weighted is a 3.7. I haven't done any extracurricular until my junior and senior year due to unfortunate events that happened in my past. But now that I am a senior, I been trying to force myself to grow. I'm currently a student ambassador at one of my schools, and I plan to join Deca.. and I gotten an internship for the same school I'm an ambassador for. Compared to other kids my age - my life feels so.. bleh. I just now started a Youtube channel to add as something I've done. But I'm worried I won't stand out at all. I need someone to be blunt with me, do I stand a chance in college?
