How do you make yourself more appealing to colleges?
I'm wanting to get into the University of St. Thomas and I know the school is a bit more prestigious than some. Any tips?

The cliche answer would be good grades, community service/involvement as well as Extracurricular activities. Those are all great, but also remember to tell your story and speak your truth. Every individual is uniquely special, so highlight any talents/achievements that may set you apart from others. Wishing you the best of luck throughout the process and journey!

The easiest way to stand out is just to be yourself, and tell your unique story. Spend time brainstorming and really thinking about what experiences have led you to where you currently are, and why they have help set you up for college. Instead of trying to brainstorm unique or niche stories, just focus on being yourself and being genuine. Colleges can recognize that and will appreciate it.

Hello Wyatt! I would say- Be authentic and be you. It's all about showing off what makes you, well, you! Have diverse exposure- dive into stuff outside of class if you have some time, whether it's sports, clubs, volunteering, or whatever gets you going. And when it comes to your application- share your story, your dreams, and passions, apart from just general academics. The application reviewers would truly appreciate that, and whatever sets you apart from others certainly adds value.
