How do you contact music educators about student teaching?
I'm looking to become a music teacher, and I know that I will need student teaching experience. How do I contact music educators in order to set that up?
What inspired you?
I love to play the piano and I know that the passion and love I have for the instrument will spread and inspire others to follow their passions
Does it really matter where you go to college?
I plan to major in piano and voice performance with a minor in psychology, and then start private music lessons. Does it matter where I go to college, or should I try to get into one that is more prestigious in the realm of music performance? I kind of want to go to a Christian college that is closer to home, but obviously they aren't really known for music performance so I'm just wondering what I should do.
How many years of experience does it take before you can officially be a music teacher?
I'm looking to go to college at Baldwin Wallace, how many years after I graduate would I need to student teach before I could become a teacher myself.
What all does a musical therapist involve?
I am trying to decide weather to be a musical therapist or a music teacher, what is some good advice about music therapy since not many people i know are involved in this.
