What is a good major for somebody the likes to do math and also loves the game of basketball?

I am currently in AP Calculus and I initially wanted to do engineering but after some deep consideration I have decided my passion may be for something else.

Hi Levi, I hope you're doing well.
Reviewing your interest in both math and basketball, a couple of promising academic paths come to mind that could allow you to integrate these passions. Computer Science is a highly valuable field in our increasingly digital world, and its analytical and problem-solving foundations align well with mathematical thinking. To connect this with basketball, you could explore roles as a software engineer or developer within sports organizations. Another compelling field is Kinesiology; while it addresses the science of human movement, its principles are deeply rooted in STEM fields, which could allow you to explore injury prevention and training aspects of basketball or any sport.
Thanks, I hope this helps.
