Hi Emilia,

My undergraduate degree is in Business Administration, which I then doubled-down on with both an MBA and a Masters of Finance.

Your career options are quite limitless as every industry requires business knowledge. Some of the various specialties would be Sales, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Product, and Research/Development type roles. These vary in terms of interaction with clients, to hands on type work in the Product/Operations roles. "Back-office" roles would be the Finance/Accounting/Legal professions. There really is every profession that suits all types of personalities. Whether you are interested in the film industry, software companies, manufacturing companies, or even government work, a business major will well suit you to be prepared to start your career.

As you explore more in your business major, it could be a good idea to talk to some of the professors in the specialty classes to get better insight into the exact specifics of the role and if you would find the work interesting to you. Oftentimes, university professors have worked in the field in the subject they teach. As an example, a professor of sales/marketing could offer you great insight into what the day to day looks like as a sales rep, or marketing professional.

Best of luck,
Lucas
