Hello Hayden, I have received scholarship money in the past. Usually, you don't directly receive the scholarship money, rather it is credited against your tuition owed. Hope that helps!

Hey Hayden! Great question! I actually had this exact same question when I was going through this process a few years ago and there there are a few different ways they might give it to you.
1. If it is the college, they may reduce the tuition directly and typically will appear on the statement.
2. They could give it to you in the form of check (or cash).
3. They can directly add the funds into your bank account.
In my experience it never hurts to confirm just to be safe. Typically I would email the financial aid office or department giving you the scholarship. It would go along the lines of the following:
Hello, ______
I'm sorry if you mentioned it earlier, but could you clarify how I will receive the scholarship funds? Thank you so much for this opportunity and I look forward to hearing back from you!
Best, _____
I hope this helps and best of luck Hayden!!!
