How do you pick a good roomate?

If given the case, for a dorm you need a roomate. How do you choose a roomate without knowing them personally? What should I look out for?

Hi Ivanna, I understand how tough it can be to choose or find a roommate since they play a big role in your college life. I recommend looking for someone who shares similar values or living habits. For example, I like to keep things clean, so I would ask about their tidiness and their sleep schedule since I'm a light sleeper. Having someone with similar habits makes sharing a space much easier.
