How I can balance the work/life aspects being a college student?
I am a student seeking to become a mechanical engineer. As I enter college, I want to be more involved in extracurriculars. I am doubting if I can have time between classes and work. What are ways I can be involved while maintaining my academic lifestyle?

I think there will be some project display fairs from last year undergrads. There will be many seminars which will be about sales, meetings , interview ...etc. You can make as many professional network as you can make. Projects are way to go even if they are basic but it's something. Enjoy a lot because it's your last time you will ever be in classroom. Your university will have a lot of professors who still works in industry, take thier perspective in consideration.

When you start college, you'll quickly notice a few things. First, you'll have more free time than you expect. You'll probably have classes for 3-6 hours a day, spread out during the week. Some days, you might only have 1 or 2 classes. Most jobs understand that you're a student first and offer flexible schedules. It's not a good idea to work full-time because being a student is already a full-time job. This gives you time for activities and hobbies.
You'll also realize the importance of staying disciplined. Without your parents to remind you, it's up to you to do your homework and study. Try to finish your homework early, so you have more free time at the end of the week to relax. Build good study habits and routines to keep a healthy balance between work and life.
