I think the best part is that at least a hint to the diagnosis of the patient has been highlighted by the PCP primarily care physician which might make your overall diagnosis conclusion a little easier, another best thing is that the patient doesn't keep on bothering you why they aren't better as they keep asking their PCP this.. always

For your senior project, you might want to talk to some radiologic technologists nearby to hear directly from them about what they find easy and enjoyable in their work.
