Hi Connor, I'm in my final year as a physician assistant student, and debt is really impacting my future plans. I was thinking about specializing in orthopedics because there are excellent fellowships in that field. However, these fellowships don't pay as well as regular jobs since you're still considered a student getting extra training. I want to start paying off my debt, and I'm also at a point in life where I want to start a family and buy a house. So, I don't think I'll go for a fellowship.
