Hello Wajeeha. Both commerce and computer science can lead to high-paying careers, so there is no single "best" choice. The right option depends on your interests, strengths, and long-term goals.

Since you are interested in starting your own business, commerce could be a good fit. It will help you learn about accounting, finance, marketing, management, and entrepreneurship. These skills are useful whether you start your own business or work in a company first.

Computer science is also a strong option if you enjoy technology and problem-solving. It offers careers in software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, and other fast-growing fields. These skills can also help you build a technology-based business in the future.

Hi Wajeeha, big congratulations on getting your high school diploma! Thinking about the future can feel a bit overwhelming, especially when deciding on a career. But you're already on the right track since you've figured out what interests you.

My suggestion is to follow your curiosity when choosing between commerce and computer science. Which one grabs your attention more? What subjects make you want to dive deeper? Is there a topic in either field that really excites you?

If you pick a career based on what you're curious about and eager to learn, you'll keep growing, and your salary will grow along with your skills!

Good luck!

Choose computer science — you’ll gain valuable experience. You can learn business later. You can also study and work part-time at the same time.
