You might also be realistic in your goals by recognizing that only 1 in 12,000 HS players ever plays even 1 play in the NFL, so while in school, it is a very good idea to make sure you take advantage of the college opportunity that your skill may earn for you and prepare for a life outside the NFL should that dream not come true.
