Roger’s Answer

On a typical "work day" at CSAA Insurance Group,  you can find me leading employee volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, sorting food at the Food Bank, recognizing key employee volunteers or community groups with monetary contributions, or cleaning up the Rim of the Grand Canyon with fellow AAA employees.

I manage CSAA Insurance Group's relationship with dozens of non-profit partners helping them achieve their goals to make our communities and country better. I am honored to be the only person in the country to lead two (2) separate companies (Bank of America / AAA) to the highest honor in Corporate Volunteerism - The Points of Light Award for Excellence in Corporate Community Service.   And, I have led CSAA Insurance Group to multiple "Civic 50 honors" recognizing our company as one of the top 50 community-minded companies in America.   CSAA Insurance Group has dedicated employees who serve our members and care for our communities. 99% of our employees volunteer through our national award-winning "AAA Volunteers" network.  99% of CSAA Insurance Group employees volunteered in a "team volunteer event" supported by AAA Volunteers.  No company in America (larger in size than CSAA Insurance Group) has ever achieved a higher volunteer participation rate. I thoroughly enjoy the work that I do (-- it's not really "work").  And it is awesome representing AAA's great brand in the community.

That is my typical day.  Also I walk at least five miles every day (10,000 "FitBit steps"); sleep on dirt (camping) 30 days out of the year, enjoy the splendor of our National Parks, love USC Trojans Football, and enjoy simply having time and shared experiences with my wife, daughters and grandson.
