I complete agree with what Josana said. It is very important for you to understand the actual stream of career that you are interested in. Am sure most of us play games when wee are bored or for a bit of relaxation from our work. But that is not what I would recommend for you to choose as your mainstream career. If you are so passionate about games, you can take up suitable main stream careers that will enable you to be a game programmer. You can bring all your imagination to action and even more by creating games of yours. Five most popular language you can learn for game programming and they are:

1.c++

it is the most popular language in the game industry.most of the games like GTA V ,PUBG and SUPER MARIO GAME are written in this language.but remember it’s a little bit tough language.mobile game subway surfers is also made in this language.

2.python -Download Python

it is very user friendly language .you can easily deal with this language.any one can easily make game in this language.

3.java

java is too popular in the market .but making game in java language is time consuming .if you have to perform a simple task you have to write a bunch of codes in java.but,java is most popular in game dev community.most of the games you have played are made in java language such as hill climb 2, clash of clans .

4.c#

if you are good in java and c++ then definitely you can learn c#.after learning c# you can able to make games on engine like unity 3d.

now,after that you have to learn game art such as game assets ,platform ,level designing,building a game and many more.

if you want to make 2d games then you have to learn .you can buy a memeber ship.

Hi Timarion,

Since you are asking; "Do you need an education to became a YouTube gamer? That's it what I want to be when I grow up" - I am assuming you are a teenager!

Mean while, some of the YouTube gamer are extremely highly - paid, some of them can barely make it. My question to you would be; Do you need an education to play these games ? You are asking as if, you need to make a decision very fast! Is that true?!

If you are passionate about video games, and if you are very good at it, it is very smart to actually make money out of it. I believe mastering your skills in video games and trying to be on the top, requires plenty of time, disconnection from the nearby reality and most probably some damage of your vision and back posture. Being a YouTube gamer, means that your will serve to your community as a role model, so they can learn new tricks and skills, pointing that your should provide high - quality content in your channel.

I am not aiming to discourage you, but I cannot deny the importance of education. I would say education does not guarantees your richness but it is the safer and more sustainable path to follow, in having at least a "normal" life; financially wise.

The fact that I do not know your age, does not allow me to give very specific advises , but in general I would say, you should try to do both up to the point that you would have made up your mind what is the best thing for you and your future, than you can focus at one single thing! For the moment I think you need to form your general background, you should try to get the best out of every opportunity.Think the situation wisely and be true to yourself... perhaps being a You Tuber it is just an instant desire or maybe it is for real what you are good at.

Nevertheless never forget that through passion and dedication everything is possible.
