This might be a good job when you are younger, it'll teach you good relationship building skills and how an organization operates. Hope this is your short term goal, and it will help you figure out what you want to major in and build your career. I think it's very admirable that you know what you want to do. It's a good starter job.

Hi I am in Human Resources. I love the opportunity that my position brings by interacting with so many people. I know by performing the hiring function that it is making a significant impact on the company and people we hire. HR is a great field to get in to. You learn so much about all of the organizations and just how much impact you can make for the employees by just doing your job well.


Kelly recommends the following next steps:

Participate in Career Fairs , work with your career development offices on campus in order to help you learn what companies are hiring in this space. Engage in internships along the way if possible. This will really help to hone in to what area you would like to focus on in HR.
