How did you get to be a good welder and were would be a goodplace to start as a welder?

I'm 18 and right now I'm going into welding and I want to be good out there and be the best one. Also later on create my own company. #job

Be willing to put in the hours and try to make every weld better than the last. Change your settings between welds and try to fine tune the welder as well as your angles and speeds. There is many variables to welding it takes awhile to get everything right. I would check out welding tips and tricks on YouTube. That guy has some very good videos

I suggest joining the United States Military. The Navy and Army both should have good training for welders.
