Hi Evelin,
Some disadvantages of working as an esthetician are that the pay and hours are not consistent. Your income will be based on how much time / how many appointments you have so it is difficult to budget or know what you will make on an annual basis. In addition, you will tend to spend a lot of time on your feet which can be taxing for your body.
Another area to consider is that you will be dealing with many different clients so it is likely that you will have to handle some people who are not extremely friendly. Your ability to manage difficult situations and problem solve is extremely helpful when you are in this role.
