Most students (well everyone, really) have a cell phone and with it you should have access to your school email, and also a calendar. When you have items that need you attention or deadlines to meet, put them on your calendar so that you can see what events (quizzes, due dates for homework or papers, etc) are coming up. This should help you to prioritize and stay ahead of deadlines. Best of luck to you in school!

When I was in school I wrote all of my meetings, classes and appointments on a large wall calendar that I hung up on the door. This way it was always in my face whenever I had to leave the room. In addition, any really important dates and deadlines that I had were highlighted in neon yellow to draw my attention to them.
