Wael’s Answer

3.4% of kids in the USA are home schooled. In other wards, I would not be worried about it at all.

Archived’s Answer

Teachers will always be needed. Although homeschooling is gaining popularity, it still makes up a small portion of education. Many families can't homeschool for different reasons, so public and private school teachers are essential. If you're interested in teaching, you should definitely go for it!
