What requirements does it take to go to a state university?

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, there are no easy answers to this question. Each university, whether a state/public university or a private one, each set their own requirements for admission. I would encourage you to simply visit the admissions page of any university you're interested and review the requirements. Some universities have very strict requirements while others have very minimal requirements.

The best thing to do, for now, is think about the universities you want to attend, check out their websites and review the admission requirements, and then develop a plan to meet those requirements. Keep in mind that even if you meet all of the requirements it isn't a guarantee that you'll be admitted, but it DOES give you the best possible chance.
