Hi there,

Some colleges give out scholarships directly, so it's a good idea to contact the Admissions office at the schools you're interested in.

Big companies also offer scholarships to the community. Try looking into companies where you know someone or in fields you're interested in for the future.

Don't forget to talk to your school counselor or visit the career center if your school has one—they can be really helpful. You can also reach out to local clubs, associations, and community centers. Even if the scholarships are small, you can apply for as many as you want, and every bit counts.

I don't know the best place to get scholarships but I do know the best way to search for all of the scholarships available is to do a search on the internet. I would start with www.scholarships.com. You simply fill out a profile including your G.P.A., interests, hobbies, etc. and the search engine will match you up with scholarships that fit your profile. You still have to put in the time and energy to read through all of the requirements, fill out the applications, write essays, etc. but at least it narrows down the list.


In addition, the schools you apply to may offer a few scholarships so check with the admissions office.
