Is it better to live on or off-campus?

I'm living on campus for my first year but it's so expensive that I was thinking about looking into other options. I was wondering if the benefits outweigh the costs.

Hi Rebecca,
I think living on campus is a fantastic part of the college experience. It keeps you connected with others which in turn makes you feel like you belong. If you have interests you are passionate about, join an organization and get involved.

If you are worried about the expense, see if you can become a Resident Advisor or get a job on campus to defray the cost of living in the dorm.

I lived on campus my whole tenure at college and have never regretted it.
Good luck!
