That a very interesting practice you got there!
As already replied by Riley, a car-mechanic can earn upto 40-60k per year for sure or could be more.
But how about this idea ? since by now you already know how things work inside a 4 wheeler car and lawnmower too so about how you re-creating, or putting your innovative cool ideas to these mechanisms.
Working as mechanic can certainly be fulfilling by fixing things as how it should be, in your garage.
But it will can be more fun if you go behind those mechanisms, learn how it works, why its made that way and come up with your own ideas, it will be even better and will make you dad proud.
As you are so interested in mechanisms so do your education in Mechanics as well, you will love it and score well too.
You will sure get a job in a huge automobile company - where you get to make your own cars someday!
So keep up what you are doing and tell Daddy about your big plan too.
