Dear Kaneez - believe me, I understand! It happens to everybody once in a while. The fact that you're asking that question on this site is impressive! I admire you for putting that one out there. I don't know if anyone can give you a really good answer that would work for everyone, but I'd say this: you're probably feeling imbalanced right now with your activities, and maybe you need more physical activity or social interaction. I frequently take breaks, and set aside about 45 minutes each day to do something athletic, even if it's just to walk down the street and back. If you've never seen TED Talks, I recommend setting aside some time each week to take one in on YouTube (perhaps on Tuesday afternoons or evenings - make it "TED Talk Tuesday" if you can). Last but not least, try to get in some social interaction. I do NOT mean picking up your phone and texting: I mean actually call and have a physical conversation with a friend...even if it's just 5-10 minutes. Your brain works a little differently when you're actively engaged in a conversation versus when you are texting while trying to work (in that case, both the text conversation and your work suffer). While you're working, shut off your phone so that your texts won't chime in and disrupt your concentration. I HAVE to do this (just don't tell my girlfriend)! Otherwise, you're training yourself to break your own concentration and do something else...which ends up just being counterproductive!
