Hi Brittany! Wow! How ambitious of you to double major! I personally did not do a double major in college, but had many friends who did. What I would suggest to you is rather than think about what is best in the short term first, is to think about your long term goals and what you are trying to achieve in the future. If the job you want in the future requires or you would be more likely to be hired because of having the double major, it may be worth the investment.

Another thing to consider is many employers look for students who have strong leadership skills, which often time are achieved by participating in extra-curricular activities. If you are doing a double major, you may not have as much time to commit to these outside activities and develop more of these "soft skills" as well. However, if you feel you can manage both, then go for it!

Finally, you don't want to overwhelm yourself too much by having too many demands on your time. It is so important to maintain a strong GPA. If you feel like you can do that in both majors, then it might be a good fit for you! Best of luck to you!
