What would be the best place to pursue a career in aerospace engineering?

I am planning on majoring in aerospace engineering, however I am unsure where to pursue a career afterwards. NASA is what I had in mind, but I would like some advice on what would be best. #aerospace-engineering

NASA is a government organization and I am not sure how often they hire and if they want people with graduate degrees. At this time, lots of a private defense companies are hiring as well as the new small and big aerospace companies (Space-X) is an example.

Lots of these jobs require a security clearance so watch out your behavior and what you do while is high school and college.
