Does your major matter when applying to medical school?

I want to go to medical school, but I am a Math major. I am a sophomore in college. #doctor

Pre-med, biology are what most medical school look for. I have heard of people with other degrees but usually after they accept all of the pre-med and biology students first. Good luck.
