After 10th Std, 2 years of PU education, 3 or 4 years of Bachelor degree & 2 years of Post graduate , overall study of 24+ years

That degree can take between 4 and 7 years. Then you do some research for another two to three years until you find a job. So if you add it all up, it takes about 4 years for college, 5 years for a doctorate, and 3 years of post-doctorate research for a total of 12 years until you are a professor.
