You have to see the signs but you can't know for sure. Look signs like doing well in college, enjoying the subjects, and have interest in further reading. All of these signs that you did the right decision.

You will never know for sure. I was 20 years old and had no idea at the time. I went to IT school for a year and got a job shortly after. 3 years into a few IT-related jobs, I still did not know if it was for me. The thing that sparked me was when I started to look forward into going to work; thats when I knew.
So find something you like, and stick with it. Good luck.

What does "right" mean to you? Once you have that answer, you'll be a a much better state to decide for yourself. For some, a right career choice would be something they really enjoy doing even if there are fewer opportunities. For others, a stable career with more opportunities could be the right choice and so on. Take some time to think on what you enjoy working on, it might not be the first choice you make but eventually you'll figure it out :)
