Yes! You can go to community college and still get into any job. There are education courses that you can take to become a teacher. I'm not too familiar with speech therapy, but overall, community college can provide a great basis. You may need to do an additional masters program or get more certifications, but that doesn't mean community college is a bad idea!

I'm not sure if you are asking whether you can start at a community college and then transfer into a 4-year program or if you are asking whether you can complete a 2-year degree and enter the field as a working speech-language pathologist (SLP).

Most SLP's actually hold a master's degree, so that means they complete a 4-year undergraduate degree and then go to graduate school for 2 years. In this case, yes, you can start at a community college, taking your general education courses like writing, math, and art. You would then transfer to a 4-year college to complete courses in Communication Sciences and Disorders to finish your Bachelor's degree. From there, you'd apply to a graduate program to finish your Master's degree.
