How long will it take me to get into digital design

I like to play video games, my favorite sport is football. I'm really into learning about computers. I would love to be a game developer because i am very into video games, designing my own game would be a dream of mine considering other things i want to do. #gaming

Hi I work in graphics programming at a tech company (not games) but if you're interested in game development, a similar path could get you into the industry. The company I work at has a hard time finding people with a graphics skillset, so learning OpenGL or WebGL opens you up to both game dev and other software possibilities. Of course, learning how to program and having personal projects is the way to get any job as a software developer so you could start with making your own 2D game app (iOS/SpriteKit is pretty beginner friendly), or building something in Unity, or if you're just starting out with programming, maybe a script that will track football stats. In this case, Codecademy or Udemy or Youtube has some good tutorials to get started. Hope this helps!
